Castle Defender 2
One of the members on the Game Maker forum I am on needed a banner for his new game - Castle Defender 2. I took up the challenge, as I do many other banner challenges, thinking it would just turn out 'ok', like most others do. A couple of hours later this 'appeared' on the screen. Other than the Knight in the center (which is actually two knight images ripped from two different websites) all the images used were stock photos that were edited, shaded, and recolored. The entire time I was making it I kept thinking, "geez, this is the uglies thing I have ever made". Nothing seemed to flow together and it just looked bad. I can't say where in production, but somewhere along the way I just started loving it. I normally don't post work I do for other people, I just think it is probably one of the best collage type banners I have ever made. Tell me what you guys think.
