1) Try something called "Outer Glow" in the layer effects tab - if used correctly and with the right blend of colors it will surely give you a similar effect 2) Again, a simple "Outer Glow" will suffice on this one 3) Sometimes there is no shortcut around some God given artistic ability. I'm afraid there is no "easy" button on this one... Hope that helps.
